CEO iLumen gives talk at opening STEM experience area TECHville

On Thursday, February 20, TECHville opened its doors on T2 campus for the first time. Techville is a STEM experience space where classes of students (10-19 years) are challenged to make their city smarter with technological solutions.

Examples of challenges that the students have to deal with are related to solar panels, home automation, smart traffic lights, energy storage, smart grid, waste processing with artificial intelligence …

As a member of the Belgian STEM-platform, our CEO Ismaël Ben-Al-Lal was given the honor to give a talk in the presence of Zuhal Demir (Flemish Minister of Justice and Enforcement, Environment, Energy and Tourism) and Wim Dries (mayor of Genk), who were allowed to officially open TECHville.

More information on TECHville can be found here.
